I drove and drove and drove and made it just in time for my favorite time of any day.
Except this day I got to spend golden hour in Zion National Park.
(… wow with that Petzval lens again… soft, filmic, vignettey – unedited …)
I had three hours amongst this.
I could have, should have spent three days.
… but here is the thing, Zion is now under my skin.
Permanently.
I will return.
And do Southern Utah properly.
Dedicatedly and very, very soon.
(p.s. a bit south of Zion I drove through the very upper left corner of Arizona and there – big surprise – is where I hit the highest temp of the trip. All 108 dumb degrees of it.)
