There are many things that I am excited to share with you about the Stone Edge Farm Cookbook over the next several weeks and months but let’s start with the two that are most time sensitive…
This Saturday, March 8th from 3-4 p.m., author and chef John McReynolds will be speaking and signing books at my MOST favorite bookstore, Omnivore Books in San Francisco. This free event will include tasting of Stone Edge Farm wines as well as small plates from the farm and vineyard. A little birdy told me that the book’s photographer will be there, as well. Won’t you join us?
I am also very, very pleased to announce that the Stone Edge Farm Cookbook has been named as a finalist in three categories for the 2014 International Association of Culinary Professionals Cookbook Awards. The three categories are Photography; First Book (The Julia Child Award); and Chefs and Restaurants. No other book was nominated in three or more categories this year. Being a finalist is such a grand reward in itself… the awards ceremony is in Chicago on Saturday, March 15th and I will keep you posted on results!
