A French-themed dinner party was in order since annie and eric were off to paris this week and because jen and bob are headed there next month for jen’s grande summer of 40…
annie and eric.
petit paper fleurs and cold, dry, pink wine.
beau chat Bonney!
golden hour bobby and la bière de la tour eiffel.
serious delish spread courtesy of Jen.
truly, some of the loveliest and best people that I know.
j’ai fait la vichyssois and since I did, I will say that – yes – it tasted nice (mmm lemon zest and creme fraiche) but perhaps more like a well seasoned liquidy cold mashed potato? guess I am not really a cold soup gal (the heated leftovers were mmmmmmm).
this, every time, this.
out comes the speakeasy growler (and the chiminea fire).
gorgeous, delightful, tried and true jen.
I then tucked the camera away and completely forgot to shoot annie’s spectacular tarte tatin/upside down cake until the next morning. I had it for breakfast with my bulletproof coffee (which I pretended was an au lait) and started scheming how to get myself into one of those damn suitcases.
… et voici à vos merveilleux week-end, les amis!
